I cleaned out my bathroom. I let FI have two drawers and one shelf. I was feeling pretty generous last night. This morning I reclaimed half the shelf.

My mom is coming to town today, and it is the first time she and Jeremy will meet.  I want to throw up!  He's never met any of my family (we're not close - geographically or otherwise), but of them all, she is the most normal.  Still, I am just a little nervous.

Hahaha.. I am currently starting to move my stuff over to FI's house. I am slowly taking over. He will have to get rid of some stuff because it's just all to much. I've already started thinking.. "is this really necessary or can I throw it out." I want to be moved in by the wedding so when we come back from the honeymoon I'm good to go.

Per a conversation between me, Courtski and her FI last night... If your groom is reversing your colors (ie him in white, you in black) and making a cake decision like that, maybe you need to question his sexuality.

Oh and I'm still on the hunt for a coordinator. We were ready to extend an offer today and she e-mailed me saying the distance was too far I am bummed. And I'm also working 8:30am-10pm tomorrow, BAH!

Thanks for the positive knottie vibes, ladies, I rocked that effing interview! What sucks is that I won't hear anything until at least next Friday since people within the company are traveling and won't be able to convene to discuss me until then. I guess that gives me at least a week and a half to finish all of my outstanding wedding items.
I also got my first RSVP envelope back! I don't think I've ever been this excited to check the mail.

Oh my SIL is coming into town today from HI. She posted that she bought some baby shoes because they had cupcakes on them. She posted this right after my brother posted a sappy love letter on her FB about how he can't wait to start a family.

Today's my first day back to work -- I had two weeks off in total. I'm still a little jet lagged or dehydrated.

I have been hiding a lot of people lately on FB. A couple of them were friends that never RSVP'd to the wedding -- not via the RSVP card, responding to my texts or FB messages. So, yeah, if they couldn't be bothered to even reply to any of my very polite inquiries, I'm not so interested in what they're up to today.

Also, if the last 20 of your statuses were about the same milestone of your child (OMG, she totally smiled! First smile with a dimple! First smile for Daddy! etc), I'm no longer interested. I might un-hide you when your child gets a little older and does more interesting things.

Courtski -- congrats on the interview going well! I was lucky that the two interviews I went on this past year went well, and I could for once actually tell they liked me. That first week of getting RSVPs back was awesome. It was less awesome when it slowed down, and then eventually stopped, well in advance of the RSVP due date

I didn't get any of these responses, but FI did, and he hated it. I mean ... at least tell me there's something important you might have that day instead. I don't care if it's a lie.

I'd honestly rather people had RSVP'd yes and then not shown up -- I would've assumed something (important) came up. To not answer me at all just makes me wonder if I did something to offend them.

Oh so remember last week when I confessed that I was going out of town Labor Day weekend for FI's birthday and also so I had an excuse to not go to a wedding? The bride texted me to say that I needed to be on the lookout for a rehearsal dinner invite cause I'm apparently in the wedding party.

I told her we'd be out of town and our flight got back on her wedding day. I may have been mean and left out what time it got back on her wedding day.
