So this may be snarky of me, but  quite frankly I am irritated with a certain member (more like a couple of members) of my family. One of my cousins commmited to another wedding the same weekend as ours, which quite frankly after how sh!tcanned he got at our last family wedding I don't give a rat's booty (his mother blames everything on myself and another cousin for his behavior at the last wedding, even though we were both sober.)

I didn't find out through a call from him, neither of his parents even bothered telling me. I got a text about it from my sister on Saturday when my aunt (a-hole cousin's mom) was at my cousin's (my "co-conspirator" from the other wedding) graduation. After talking to my mom she said that my aunt was making all sorts of excuses as to why it was okay that he completely forgot and just can't come in February. Lucky for him, I didn't want to send the invite to begin with after that last fiasco, so I am not hurt, I am more irritated by how they chose to handle it.

Well, magically his invite got back to me from his address as "attempted unknown" on Tuesday, so I just put it in a manila envelope addressed to his parents house with a note that says "sorry I had to hear through the grapevine you have to miss out in Feb. Figured you would at least still appreciate the invite"

My mom told me I am not very nice. *shrug*
