I'm the bride that wants too gain wait lol

I know it sounds crazy, but this old athlete is trying so hard to get all my wait back I lost a lot of it after having my son 18 moths ago. I'm really frustrated because I'm not gaining the way I want to, partly because I'm not doing what I know to do... Help please

  • Use MyFitnessPal and make your goal to gain x amount per week.  Just make sure to gain using healthy high-cal food.

  • If you want to put on weight (and I assume you'd like it to be good weight and not body fat % LOL) then like the PP said, you need to stick with calorically dense, but still clean, foods.  Avacados are a great example because you get a lot of nutritional bang for your buck in terms of calories and good stuff.

Some other foods to eat are:
    - Bacon
    - Red Meat
    - Dark Meat Chicken
    - Organic Butter and Dairy
    - Organic Eggs
    - Sweet Potatoes
    - Beans
    - Rice

A good resource, that I follow a lot is:

  • Oh and like PP's said... if it is an issue, I would at the least consult with a nutrional counselor or a doctor to understand what type of calories you should be consuming daily.  Because if the weight loss has been an issue, there might be other problems they want to rule out like Cealics, Chrons, or other digestive issues.  My GF lost some serious wreight and was hospitalized and they kept thinking it was an eating disorder, but that girl could pound some chow.  It turned out she was undiagnosed but had Cealics and everything she ate, she wasn't absorbing any nutrition from.  Just good to rule stuff like that out from the get go...
