Getting in Shape

I NEED MOTIVATION! (with food..)

SO my fiance has been deployed for about 5 months. he has about 2 left (YAAAAAY!!!!) and i have been doing WONDERFUL at the gym. i go 5 sometimes 6 days a week, i do carido everyday and i switch up the days i do my weights.

THATS NOT THE POINT ( unless you have more pointers for me there i will def TAKE THEM!)

its around food, i have a probleme. i am addictied to sugar. (sweets.) and when i DO eat a meal, i tend to OVER EAT and clean plate. i do not give myself any time to be "full"

i really want to just drop about another 10 pounds. and continue tighting my body up.

any pointers will be GREATLY helpful :)

Re: I NEED MOTIVATION! (with food..)

  • I am completely addicted to food too and trying to battle it.  I find sometimes drinking a full glass of water before each meal helps -- it makes you feel fuller faster without adding a single calorie.
  • Thats my problem too. I can work out now, but when I get home after the gym my FI end up eating everything bad for you. And I also think Chik-fil-a milkshakes should be outlawed!

But my trainer has me doing 5 small meals a day. All about a handful.
    Breakfast-granola bar
Snack- 4oz protein shake- I pretend its a milkshake :)
    Lunch-soup or salad
snack- 4oz protein- No fruit after 1pm
Dinner- Meat and veggie- No Carbs

Its hard, but I hope this helps. I usually use Saturdays as a day I am more lenient.

Also, use a fat burner and daily vitamin if you aren't taking any. Hope this helps! Good Luck!

  • MARKSLE84- I'm sorry, I know this isn't your question, but HOW are you not starving on your meal plan?  Have you calculated the calories you are eating daily?  That menu just doesn't seem healthy to me.  But you can ignore me since you didn't ask for opinions.

KYLEANNIE- Base your meals around real, whole foods.  Eat fruits and veggies, lean proteins, whole grains, low fat or fat free dairy, and healthy fats like peanut butter, olive oil and avocado.  These foods will fill you up for less calories.  Also, eat slowly- it takes about 20 minutes for your digestive system to send "full" signals to your brain.  And gradually decrease your portions to normal size.  Also, don't beat yourself up if you crave something not considered "healthy"- all things in moderation!
