Venue Help

So we were planning a small, immediate family and close friends wedding. We've had extended family feel left out, so we added them to the guest list. We have outgrown our venue!!!! Luckily the deposit is fully refundable and our wedding is a year away. Now to find a venue that can accomidate 75-100, indoor/outdoor, and less than $1000. Ideas are appreciated... HELP!!!

Have you looked through the venue sticky at the top of the page?

Yep. Thats where i found my first venue. out total budget for the wedding is $5000, so spending more than 1000 is really not possible.

    What was the first venue?

The only one I can really think of that might work is Winfrey Point at White Rock.  And it's totally DIY I believe.

Winfrey Point             Resident           Non Resident             Capacity
         Mon-Thurs            $90/hr               $110/hr                        270
         Fri-Sat                   $150/hr             $180/hr                        270

What day of the week are you looking to do it?

I had friends that got a good deal here (http://www.cappellacourt.com/special-dates-affordable-wedding-dallas-tx-reception-halls-dfw.html) for a Thursday, ceremony + reception

I'm not so good with the advice... Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment?

our origional location was The Birds Nest in McKinney. We are planning for a sunday (laborday- hence the need to find something fast). but, my dad's girlfriend has a brother who is owed a favor by the event planner of a local country club, so he is sponsoring our wedding, and we can afford to use the club house. So all that's left to do is go look at the space, and get the deposit back from Birds Nest. Kindof a really random connection and situation, but i'm glad it happened. I really love the birds nest, it has a lot of character and is adorable and perfect for small weddings. I highly highly recomend it for parties 50 or smaller. Its a great idea for showers too :)
