I flame people who make an AW post for every.little.thing. It's mostly on my month board but I do not really care if you have colored  a picture, learned something new or went grocery shoopping. It gets old!

My interview today is via Skype, which means I can't be in my pajamas or in my bedroom. And, they called me this morning because they needed to change the time from 3:30 to noon. Which made me panic just a bit, but hopefully they'll just think "Wow, she's really flexible"

Um, yeah. It's a first for me. I've had a number of phone interviews, which are really awkward. I'm guessing this will probably be less awkward than a phone interview but more awkward than an in-person interview.

We have an event going on at work today that requires a lot of help.  Crab said she was tired of doing it year after year, even though she just watches us set up everything, and was just going to call in the day of.  So she called in sick today and apparently is really sick.  Supposedly throwing up and feeling just awful.  And I laughed hysterically when I heard.  If it is true, I hope she likes that crow she's eating because it sounds exactly like what I had and she thought I was lying.  And if she's just making this up, well then, at least she's not in today :)

I flame people in my office who are participating in the gift exchange today but forgot to bring a gift. We received the first email the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and have since received three reminders.

We are all so looking forward to opening your gifts from the gas station across the street!

I flame the crappy Secret Santas who apparently got me this year.  Cookies that you bought yourself for your lunch but giving to me mean that you didn't put any though or effort into it.  Or maybe like my other Secret Santa and hasn't given me anything.  You both kind of suck and are obviously just doing it to see what you get.

Also, is there a reason that you only congratulate people on WR AWs and not all the girls on their AWs?  I wasn't necessarily butt hurt about it but I thought, "Wow, so all us OMHs deserve pretty much nothin' huh?"

I flame this as well!  It drives me nuts when people don't use their freaking turn signals!  It is not that hard to turn it on!  Don't just drift over into my lane and don't just force your way over here.  I might even be nice and let you in if you actually used the turn signal.  If you don't, you can just forget about it!

Yes.  To say only congratulations to all WR AWs....

I usually say congratulations to everyone and maybe shout out to a few individuals.

I went to sleep before 7:30 last night and missed most of the first new episode of BBT that we finally got to see since the beginning of October.

Since everyone has been so crappy to me at work, I don't think I am doing Christmas presents for them.  I'll save my money, TY and be Scrooge.

Since the board is slow, I'll share my funny from yesterday:
I was chatting with some guy yesterday at lunch while watching Sports Center.  He asked me about the new coach and UNT's stadium among other things, if we're going to the new game to check it out, etc.  I kept my mouth shut, told him it would be insane and didn't say what my true feelings were.  I asked if he goes to the games and then made fun of him because he has to sit in the same seat every game.  He said "Yes, I have a special seat.  The sidelines, though.  With pads on."  Oy, a football player.  What a near miss with foot in mouth disease.

Why do any of us bring up what we bring up?  It bothered me a little.  Like last night, Bill told me that he had thrown our Halloween candy away but pulled out a few pieces because he thought I might like them.  It bothered me that he thought I would eat candy out of the trash but he didn't mean any thing by it.

Just a minute ago, a kid brought me a pill he found on the ground.  Since I had only had my middle schoolers in here this morning, I knew it had to be theirs.  I went to look it up (to make sure it wasn't something they really shouldn't have had) and it was an anti-biotic.  First use:  strep throat.  Second use:  chlamydia.  I'm going to go with strep.

To be fair here, I don't remember Julie (and many others, myself included) making a broad congratulatory statement to anyone WR or Not.  Only to specific people.

That doesn't make us bad people or selective, I don't think.  Lots of OMH's were congratulated that I can remember.  Chelsea quit smoking, Anna's birthday, my graduation.

I really don't understand this.  I said congratulations because there were alot of WR AW's, I was busy, and knew I wouldn't be back in the thread probably anyway.  There was nothing selective about it.  I mean, I don't know what I'm missing here, but I honestly don't get it.  So it's wrong to say congratulations to WR Aws???  Silly me.
