Getting in Shape

one month to go!!

my wedding is one month from today!!!  and unfortunately, i still have about 5 lbs. to lose (i'm up from a bad weekend and refuse to take away a star).what do you girls recommend i focus on for these last 4 weeks?i'm already:- working out 6 days a week, rotating jillian michael's DVDs- running at least 4 miles twice a week (going to try to make it 4x a week)- not drinking alcohol until the night before my wedding.- not drinking diet soda again until my honeymoon- minimizing cheats (i cheat way too often)- cutting back on carbs at dinner time as often as possible

  • It sounds like you're on track! I can't believe it's only a month away! You could up your weights with the DVDs and I would cut out as much processed stuff as you can. I think you're more than on track. Good luck! P.S. Lizzy I love the new siggy pic!

    Again, ditto annakate. Your plan already sounds awesome, you probably just really need to work on the cheats and be careful at pre-wedding things. good luck, the next month is going to FLY by!
  • Look at all your pretty stars! You are a rock star and have come a long way, congratulations! I bet you don't even need to lose 5 more. I've heard cutting back on sodium helps but I've never tried that b/c I love salt.

  • Kati - That sounds like a great plan.  Try to take some time to relax.  Sometimes the stress becomes a factor and can offset your eating well/exercising.  I would agree with the suggestion to minimize sodium intake.  Also, I've had good luck with intervals.  Have you tried that?  This website might provide some tips too: http://www.nowloss.com/weight-loss-plan-to-lose-your-last-10-pounds.htmGL - I can't believe you only have one month left.  YAY!
