Food Funk

Do you ever get into a funk/temporary obsession with one food that you crave and/or have to eat? You know, the type where you'll crave it/eat it for weeks and then get over it?For me right now, it's fresh corn with a little bit of butter and some Cholula hot sauce, and farmer's market tomatoes sliced with some seasoning salt. Yummers! What little food spree are you on these days?

I honestly eat almost the same thing everyday, Im lame like that. I decide I like it and stick to it until I hate it. Right now its bbq pork and this, bbq pork and that, bbq pork done this way, etc etc.
  • Peanut butter (though I NEVER get sick of it) and peaches currently (not together...)

  • I have a love/hate relationship with yogurt.  I am currently loving it but I will get sick of it and not eat it for a couple of months.  Also I'm usually a big seafood eater and lately I've been passing on it.  Jersey tomatoes are the best right now so I'm eating them all the time.
  • Angelandlibby... I do that too with yogurt! I'll eat it every day at least once a day, then will be so disgusted by it I can't even eat it for weeks to months!

  • That's funny! I always thought I was the only one doing that. And I also do that with yoghurt. I'll eat a lot of it for a while and then I can't even stand thinking about it or looking at it for several months and then the whole story repeats itself...Right now I just can't get enough of watermelons, love them!
  • Cherries.  I'm obsessed with cherries.....not the red ones....those ones that are yellow & red called Ranier cherries.  Unfortunately you can only get them for a short period of time-- i think the time is ending.  :-(
  • Rainier cherries are nommmers. I live in Seattle and we get them down at the Pike Place Market fresh. They're on their way out, though, it seems... haven't been seeing them as much lately. Sad..
