FI AND I GOT A DOG THIS WEEKEND!!!!!  I am soo excited, she is so cute!!  Her name is Goldielocks.  She's half golden retriever, half cocker spaniel.  I'm so excited, I just had to share!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aww!!  I love dogs, I can't WAIT for us to get one!  Is she a puppy, or an older dog?  YAY!

She's about 6.  She's had a rough life so far... we think she might have been abused, and she had heartworms before we got her.  But so far she seems to really like us and I don't think it will take her long at all to adjust to us and realize we're not going to leave her.  She already looks way happier in our house than she did at the shelter where we got her

Aw yay!  I love when people adopt shelter dogs...it's the best way to go IMO   Congrats, I'm sure she's SO much happier now that she has a forever home!

Yay for adopting a shelter dog! We have two shelter rescues, both were sick in the shelter, one was abused prior to being surrendured.  They're great.  I do want to give you some warning, only because FI and I have been arguing about it a lot lately, the dog will terrorize you and try and get between your relationship.  ok, maybe not that bad, but can cause a bit of arguing.  and a lot of cleaning up after.

I just got a dog a couple of months too! We got her from the humane society and she is such a joy! Plus, she is a great workout buddy! Bella and I go on two walks a day and we have a great time together!

That's so awesome that goldielocks found a good home! and yeah, great work out buddies, if I didn't have those cute puppy eyes staring at me and then my ipod and then the door everyday when I got home begging to go for our run, i'd probably never stick to my routine.
