  • 1) Introduce yourself-Hi! I'm Stef2) What are your fitness goals? To be in the best shape that i can be in while still being able to have my chocolate and captian morgan3) What has been the hardest hurdle youve encountered in your fitness journey? Thryoid problems and getting older (i am trying so hard to fight both)4) What motivated you to start getting in shape?  the fear that sitting on my arse all day at work will just inflate me if i wasn't proactive...been at it pretty constantly for 15 years 5) Greatest GIS accomplishment, thus far? Trying to love running...even though i still think the whole runner's high is a myth, i no longer get angry after a few miles  6) How do you stay motivated? trying to keep up with my much younger H..he has way to much energy and makes me feel like a lazy pile of doo-doo.7) Do your family/friends support your GIS goals? Even though they have their sarcastic remarks, they don't take it personal when i show up late because i have to get my work-out in.
  • 1) Introduce yourself- Jessica2) What are your fitness goals? Lost 30-40 lbs while also toning up my arms for the strapless dress!3) What has been the hardest hurdle you've encountered in your fitness journey? Getting started and staying motivated through the hard times.4) What motivated you to start getting in shape? Besides the 25 lbs I've gained in the past 18 months, mainly wanting to look back at my wedding and not regret that I didn't commit to losing the weight.5) Greatest GIS accomplishment, thus far? To be fair, it's only been 5 days, but sticking to the plan.6) How do you stay motivated? Try to remember what I'm working toward and that I can't give up every time I slip a little.7) Do your family/friends support your GIS goals? Totally!
  • 1) Introduce yourself Hi I'm Jess. 2) What are your fitness goals? To drop some weight and feel better about myself in general3) What has been the hardest hurdle youve encountered in your fitness journey? Jumping in too fast and injurying myself. I should have started sooner4) What motivated you to start getting in shape? My friend calling me, with the best of intentions (this is the nicest person I know) and said she cleaned out her closet and wanted to know if I wanted all her clothes she didn't now she was at her goal weight. So, her fat clothes. It was a nice thought, but it did hurt.5) Greatest GIS accomplishment, thus far? Staying on track for a whole week :)6) How do you stay motivated? By remembering that I am doing this for a reason. And by coming on here7) Do your family/friends support your GIS goals?Yes. My family are rewarding me for my weight loss! My FI is treating me to a massage at the halfway mark and my mum is taking us shopping when we both meet out goal weight :) So I have nice things to look forward to.
  • Introduce yourself:Hi, my name is Stephanie! Nice to me yall:)What are your fitness goals?First of all, I want to lose weight and fit into a size 10 again. I never thought I'd be a size 16 and I don't really like it.What has been the hardest hurdle youve encountered in your fitness journey?Getting shin splints has been really annoying, it has forced me drastically cut down my exercising habits and right now I can only do light stuff. What motivated you to start getting in shape? There were several things that all happened around the same time. First of all, my fat clothes started getting tight and didn't want to buy new ones. Then my college graduation and my parents anniversary are coming up. Both are formal events and I have to wear a dress and I know it'll be hard to go dress shopping. And my most important motivating factor is my wedding of course!Greatest GIS accomplishment, thus far? I have lost 9lbs so far and a few inches within 3 1/2 weeks! How do you stay motivated? I just think about the horror dress shopping will be if I don't lose weight...Do your family/friends support your GIS goals? FI supports me and he likes the healthy meals I cook. I do most of my exercise at home while he's at work but he joins me whenever I ride my bike, go swimming or go for a walk. My family and my friends don't live here but they support me in spirit and are happy for me when I tell them about my progress:)
