I just got my veil yesterday and am so in love with it.  I think I'm more excited for my veil than my dress.  Anyway, if anyone is still looking for a veil, I got mine on Etsy and the shop owner is just lovely and she does beautiful, quality work:

I don't have a picture cause I'm at work but my veil is amamzing! It's cathedral length, with a blusher, and iscovered in pearls and rhinestones! I finally found it (at half price!) but still paid a ton for it. I'm also wearing two rhinestone and pearl headbands that I'm connecting. I went this way because I got them for $12 total at charming charlie (new favorite store) and the ones I was looking at online were $40! Yours is beautiful!

Mine is fingertip length, too. I added a blusher and instead of crystals as my trim, I have a really, really thin ivory satin trim. I am obsessed with it. I love veils!

Here is mine.  I got it from Etsy and the appliques match the ones on my dress.  It is fingertip length.  Mine has 3 appliques, not 4.

Lol obvi!!  hey where did you get all of your broaches from for your bouquet?  A woman I work with is going to a bridal shower and they put an insert in the invites saying to contribute a broach to the brides bouquet.  I told her about yours and told her I would ask you where you got yours from.

I haven't decided yet whether I want to do a fingertip length or a really long one. I have seen some photos on Pinterest of brides with chapel length or cathedral length veils that are TO DIE FOR and I want one just for the photo opps. But, I am afraid it might not sit like I want it to and like it might be difficult to navigate.....soooo I don't know!! But I love the ones with the ivory silk around the edges, like bridetobe is talking about. there is a lot going on in my dress, so I think something simple as the trim is all I need.

I got my from <a href="http://www.fabulousbrooches.com" rel="nofollow">www.fabulousbrooches.com</a> but I can sell you (or your coworker) the ones I already have for cheap since I have no use for them anymore.  I have about 40-50 I think?  If you're interested I can stop by one of these days and you can take a look at them!

I think that she was just looking to buy 1 for the shower.  I am not really close with this co-worker at all.  So I think I might just send her that website.  You should try to post yours on the classifieds on the NJ board!

I don't have a picture of my veil but I just found it two weeks ago after tons of searching, so I'm really excited! It's a non-traditional diamond white double layer veil. It's non-traditional because the longest layer is just about floor length but the shorter layer is much shorter, just past finger tip. I think double layer veils are usually closer in length (the layers I mean). The edging is very delicate strung swarovski crystals!

I bought this veil from Etsy... it has a single layer of tulle, then russian netting with crystals at each "diamond" that is like embroidered?  Its very unique... I fell in love with it when I saw it.. the picture from Etsy doesn't do it justice... I received it and I am absolutely THRILLED with how sparkly, beautiful and delicate it is.

eh. My nana and great aunt pressured me into getting this cathedral length veil. I'm having major regrets though, I never wanted to wear a veil in the first place. 

It looked GORGEOUS with my dress (I don't have a picture of it on my computer), but I think it's just too much for my outdoor wedding. 

I LOVE yours by the way, Kate! The trim is gorgeous.

I don't have a picture because my FMIL is currently making mine, but how she has described it is very similar to yours, k888. I went dress shopping with her before buying the dress with my mom, and while we were there I tried on a similar veil, fingertip length with beading along the edge, and loved it. When the saleswoman left the room she whispered that she could make it for me to save money, haha. 

I wasn't as worried about saving money (although that is a nice bonus!) but moreso touched and honoured that she was willing to put that much effort into creating something beaufitul for me. I love the idea of having this as something I can potentially pass on to my daughters or daughters-in-law someday.

I just started looking at veils bc when I was dress shopping my bf didnt like any veils with my dress.  I really want one though and cant really picture getting married without one so that is the current thing I am on the hunt for.  Thanks for the Etsy link K8888!  I really like a lot of those!  I LOVE everyone's veils too!  If I was having a long dress I would totally want a cathedral length veil!

I don't have a veil yet, but I'm either going to go with a dupatta (Indian veil) or a mantilla like I'm wearing here (pic from dress shopping):

However if we do mantilla, my maid of honor and I are making it! So it won't be that one exactly.

I'm jealous of all of you and your gorgeous veils!! They're all so beautiful!! Meagan I'm in a very similar situation myself... I completely regret buying the veil I did. It's elbow length and I bought it during that 2 week dress hunt in the US for our wedding last year. It was a great price and I was convinced I wasn't going to get one anywhere else for less. Now I'm not so sure. Now I also realize the netting is rather thick and less delicate looking than I would have liked. I would have loooved something like your veil Meagan!

Ryans, is that traditional jewelry I see you're wearing?? That's so exciting! I've always loved everything about women's Indian dress, not to mention how the brides are stunningly decked out for their weddings! I love the dupatta. Are you doing anything else traditional for the wedding?
