Vitamins?

I am just getting back into my exercise routine and I have heard that taking certain vitamins help aid weight loss. Right now I take some generic multi-vitamin but I was wondering if you guys had an recs on a good brand? Thanks!

  • I'd recommend taking an essential fatty acid, either fish oil or flax oil, since most people don't get enough omega 3s.  I think everything else is just a hoax.

  • In addition to the Flaxseed & Fish oil, try Black Cohash and Pre-natal vitamins (with DHA) It will give you more energy, and not only help you loose weight but also clears up your skin and makes your hair soft! :D I've been on them for a few weeks now and I notice a difference! Good luck!
  • calcium is also good for weightloss. Everyday I take a multivitamin (krogers womens with the green tea), an omega-3 fish oil, calcium and half a folic acid (if I took a whole one with my multivitamin it would be too much but there isn't enough of the dra in the multivitamin alone.) Folic acid is suggested for women to help prevent spinal birth defects in children and it's also good for your hair. :)
