Are you going to cover your tattoos?

I have a tattoo on my shoulder blade and I do not want it showing in all of my pics. If you have one that shows, are you going to cover it or leave it for your wedding day?

hey lady! My tatoo won't show so I don't really need to worry about it. My sister in law didn't cover hers and she later wished she did - hers was on her chest though, so the lizard looked like it was crawling out of her dress.

Mine will not show either...but if mine were in a place where it would show I would want it covered...go to sephora and check out Kat Von D's new cover up!!

I have a large tattoo down my spine, as well as on my wrists and they stayed uncovered. They are me, and I like them. Word of the wise re: kat whatever her name is stuff. I saw something regarding her ad for it. The pics of her with it on are SEVERELY photoshopped/airbrushed. Without it, anywhere that didnt have teh tattoo cover looked red and blotchy because teh skin tones didnt match at all.

I have a tattoo in the middle of my back and it showed. I had the stuff called covermark (i think) from Ulta and with so much going on that day, forget to get my makeup lady to apply it. I originally wanted it covered. Anyway, my veil made it not real noticeable and didn't show in pictures. With it being on your shoulder blade, have you considered a bolero that matches your dress?

I have wings on my back and left them uncovered. The ceremony pictures you can barely see them because of my veil, but they are visible for the reception. I didn't get tattoos on my body for them to be covered up with makeup.

I'm not for my wedding my sister asked me to for hers so I did and in the pictures you can see the bloches from the make up.  I like my tattoos they are part of me.

Nebb is totally right about the Kat von D stuff- I saw the unretouched photos, and she looks like she has exema or something. She was just covered with blotches instead of tatoos.

CB - you wish you never got your tattoo there? Mine is on my lower back, now I get to listen to the new phrase "Tramp Stamp" Thank you wedding crashers.....What's worse? I thought I was being a 'little' original a girl at bootcamp has almost the exact tattoo in the exact same place. Sigh....the things we do when we are young!

Maybe talk to your photographer to see what they can do about retouching it? Assuming they're shooting digital, it shouldn't be too hard to photoshop out in a few important photos.

Yeah Lizzy, I do. I constantly worry about it getting sunburned/faded. It shows a lot even with regular shirts, it's just a pain. I mean, it's a beautiful tattoo, I just wish it was somewhere else haha.
