ab circle pro

I was just wandering if anyone has tried the ab circle pro and what you thought about it. I'm not talking about substituting this for my whole workout just as an aditional tool. Any thoughts will be appreciated because it's not cheap.

Please dont, youre wasting your money. It looks seriously like the movement is based on momentum, not on your abs doing any significant work. I can think of two ab exercises you can do at home with a hand weight that will work just as well.

Agreed.There's a pilates ab move I love that is basically the same motion as the ab circle pro, but it's based totally on isometrics, not momentum.1) Lie on your back, with your legs in "butterfly."  Soles of the feet together, and ankles about 1-1.5 feet from your butt.  2)Put your arms in ballet arm (elbows rounded, fingertips touching; tension all the way through your arms).  3) Lift your head and shoulder blades off the ground.4) Rotate to your right side.  Hold 3 seconds.  Keep both shoulder blades off the ground.5) Come center.6)  Rotate to your left side. Hold 3 seconds, keep both shoulder blades off the ground.7) Repeat so you do 12 to each side; 2 sets.  Work to 3 sets.

When I first saw the ab circle pro I thought it looked fun and easy. I was interested in buying one so I looked it up and read the reviews. Unfortunately the majority of the reviews were bad. So I didn't buy it.

I have no review of the actual machine... But has anyone else seen the infomercial and noticed the theme song? My dvr was broken this weekend and while we were trying to re-program, it was stuck on a channel playing the infomercial. I had never heard of it before, but the theme song just struck me as hilarious. It sounds like they got 5 people to sing the verse "I use my ab circle...the weight flies off...and my body looks sexy", but no one could agree on what key to sing in so it's all off and weird. Maybe I was just in that kind of mood...but it's awful. :P
