personal training rates

Hi All,

I am looking to get into better shape for my big day.  My gym is running a "special" for personal training.  $25 for 30 minute sessions.  

Just wondering how much you pay for training?

    I belong to NYSC and when i first started training I got the $25- $199 deal for 8 sessions.  This is an UNBELIEVABLE DEAL!

    Now I'm paying about $45 per session but honestly, it is totally noticeable and I feel really good!  You always work harder when someone is watching and helping you through it and showing you new things so that you don't plateau.  But I would say I started noticing changes after 4 sessions.  I love it  and I look forward to it. Also keeps me in line when I'm not training.  For instance, I train Monday and Wednesday so I have to push myself to workout Thursday-Sunday so that on Monday my trainer doesn't kill my in just a half hour :)  

    So all in all, a great experience and I highly recommend it!

    When I was a personal trainer, I charged $30 a session or $100 for 4 sessions. Not sure how helpful this is since I didn't set the price.

    My training was about $50.session, though they'd often run a deal that was $129 for 3 sessions. So yeah, that seems good to me!
