Hi all, I am finally starting to get motivated to lose weight for my wedding. My goal is to lose 30 lbs by my October 2011 wedding. I was looking up how much calories I need to take in everyday to lose weight, and they said about 1600(about 4 lbs a month). I am planning on religiously keeping a notebook everywhere to keep track of my daily calorie intake (also a strict fat/carb intake as well). I also plan on exercising at least 20 mins a day.
so my question is, does calorie counting actually work? Will I really lose 30 lbs? any doctors out there who can give me some suggestions?
