Re: Wednesday WW Accountability

  • BIG HUMONGOUS MONSTROSITY of a FAIL. I gained 6 lbs. Of course, the last time i weighed myself was 2 or 3 weeks before my wedding and ive been eating like total crap lately. I'm bummed, though. I was hoping i'd at least somewhat maintain. Well, up one daily pt and totally back on track. NO MORE BAD SNACKS!

    B: chex (3), coffee (3)
    L: frozen chicken/rice bowl thing (8)
    D: steak (4), peppers (0), onions (0), mushrooms (0), rice (4)

    Total: 22
    Target: 26

**germangirl** - i do WW online and i think its only about $16 a month. its much more affordable than doing the actual meetings adn then you can be sure you're calculating the pts right and everything. i lost 20 lbs doing the online (well 14 now that i gained 6 boo...stupid wedding)

  • Don't fret over it Kim, you will get back on track in no time! When my FI was home last around the holidays I ate horribly and gained about that much too. It only took a week of strict counting and a lot of water to get back to normal. You just got married you have a reason to celebrate and not worry about couting for a while!

I probably won't be on tomorrow, because I'm traveling to VA for my fiancees HOMECOMING!!!! It's been a VERY long 8 months, but we have survived and it will be so great to see him again! YAY! Ok enough of AWing...

    B: bagel thin (1) egg (2) cheese (1) ham (1)
L: ham and cheese (3) veggies and dip (1)

I had my first on track day in a long time yesterday.  I'm having a hard time getting into a routine with working out.  Baby steps.

  • Morning ladies! I feel like a slug from yesterday. I didn't really do any form of exercise (unless napping counts) and I ate waaaay too much chinese food for dinner. What's worse is that I can't stand the thought of my pre-planned breakfast. So more chinese for me....

    B: leftover chinese food (5?), 1/2 grapefruit (1)
    S: 1 c baby carrots (0), 1 oz hummus (2)
    L: 1 c whole wheat pasta (3), 1/2 c marinara (2), 2 oz grilled chicken breast strips (1.5), 2 c spinach (0), 1 T lf caesar (1), 1 tsp parmesan (0)
    S: tortilla (1), 1 oz chicken breast (1), 1/4 c lf mozerella (1)
D: leftover white chicken chili (4), pear (1), asparagus spears (0)

    E: P90X Shoulders & Arms, Ab Ripper

    Total: 23.5
    Target: 26
  • Good morning. I did not get my workout in yesterday, but I did spend the majority of the day cleaning, organizing, and packing my apartment. Hopefully that counts as something!

B: Kashi cinnamon cereal (2), 1/2 cup skim milk (1)
L: Arnold sandwich thin (1), Kraft 2% cheddar (1), Hormel Natural Smoked Ham (1), Salad (4)
D: We're doing our tasting with the caterer at 4 p.m., so I'm planning on counting this as dinner. I have no idea what size portions will be served, how much food, etc. Hopefully I can stay within points

E: More cleaning, hopefully some Wii workout as it looks like it's about to rain. I don't want to get stuck in a storm during a walk.

Total: 10 not included the catering tasting
    Target: 24

  • Good morning! Kim, don't worry, some of that might be water weight or just your body going haywire.  You'll get back on track in no time! Its okay to loosen the reins sometimes!

I got on the scale this am and am finally back down to where I was before my shower (on july 17th).  I hope I can keep it moving in the same direction!

B: fiber one muffin with WW cream cheese and low sugar jelly (2)
    S: banana (2)
L: leftover fake meat tacos (5), fage yogurt (2), kettlecorn (2)
    S: baby carrots (0)
D: TBD....might be the usual, protein, veggies and corn (6)

E: 30 minutes with a trainer, hoping for 20-30 minutes cardio after

    Total: 19
    Target: 18

  • Jess-What caterer are you using?  We used Zilli's and the food was awesome!

I'm really happy with myself - I'm sticking to the plan.  Much of it has to do with you ladies, though - seeing how you keep yourself accountable for your own weight and health inspires me.  Thank you!

Brunch: pb & raspberry jam on white sandwich (6); 20 oz. water

    Snack: 8 oz. orange juice (2); sugar-free gelatin (0)

Dinner: TBD - involving salad, maybe soup

What are some tasty, whole grain white breads?  My FI is a white bread guy, but I want the nutritive aspects of whole grain - it'd be wasteful to buy two whole loaves.  ....Unless I froze it....

    Points: 8

    Target: 22

ETA: forgot to add my points/target

We're using Creative Cuisine. It's a division of Mader's, and they are new to wedding catering. Long story short, our reception venue (Hampton Inn and Suites) was exclusive with a catering company, and that company is going out of business on 8/31/10. So now Hampton went with Creative Cuisine as the exclusive. I'm nervous because they are new to the wedding industry. Hopefully it goes well. We were at a wedding in July that used Zilli's and it was really good!

  • I'm sure it'll be great.  I love Mader's food!  Hopefully your tasting goes really well tonight!  My tasting was definitely more than enough to count as dinner.
