Where do I go from here?

I'm a new poster, and trying to figure out what to do to lose weight for the big day.  I've started watching what I eat, and this week I started going to Pure Barre 3 times a week, but what else should I do?  I know I could probably use some cardio, but do I need to worry about weights as well??  How many times a week do most people do cardio??
