Getting in Shape

30 day shred

Hi ladies,

I am thinking about ordering the 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels and wanted to see if any of you had tried it! TIA!

  • I have! I really liked it. Its short but you still feel like your getting a good work out and you can do it at home! I just wish I would have stuck with it longer. I'm kind of bad about sticking with workout routines.
  • I agree.. i also have it and loved that it was a short work out but you definitely got a great burn with it.
        I also have the problem with sticking to it religiously... the program is 3 different workouts. You do the first for 10 days and then move on to the next and so on. I would on average get to day 5 or 6 and for one reason or another would miss a day. It DOES get easier the more you do it.

       One thing i really liked about the exercises is that when I want to go to the gym and not work out at home, i can easily incorporate the exercises into my usual gym routine.
  • I did the entire 30 days and def. saw results.  I lost inches, not many pounds.  It really toned up my arms, stomach and thighs.   I say go for it!

  • I love this work out DVD! The first two are fairly easy, but the third is pretty hard. I think I am going to try starting it up again.

  • I've done level 3 for a couple weeks now.  Definitely seeing lots of changes in my arms, thighs and abs.  I definitely recommend it.

    You need 3lb or 5lb weigghts to do it, but otherwise you don't have a lot of excuses NOT to do it!  It only takes 20 min and you can do it in your living room.

  • I think it's a good video.  I just need to stick to it.  Anyone can fit in the 20mins to get it done.  I'm going to start it up again.  I really need to lose weight I'm gross and of course wanna look fabulous for the wedding.  I do it without the weights cuz I'm a weakling... but maybe one day I'll be doing it with the weights that FI bought me.

  • Awesome Workout!  It was the kind of workout where it was tiring to do it, but i always felt re-energized to accomplish stuff for the rest of the day!  Also like that she isn't ridiculously upbeat - I hate when workout dvd hosts are perky when I feel like I'm about to fall on the floor! haha
  • I've started it a couple of times but haven't stuck with it for more than a week at a time. I loved it when I did it though. This is motivating me to get back into it! Thanks!
