Getting in Shape

august / sept excersize board

Trying to loose weight for my wedding on Sept 1st. Any one else wanna motivate each other on here. We can weigh ourselves once a week to motivate us!!!

    Im a Sept 29th bride! 2 years ago i had Gastric Bypass Surgury, and lost about 130 lbs. At my heaviest I was 288, and am currently back up slightly to 160. I would like to get back to the 150 range, and more imprtantly tone and firm up- I have some extra skin and flab from all the weightloss, and though I know i cant get rid of it all short of plastic surgury, I want to do whatever I can to firm up (and look slamming in my dress!) :)

    I wanna join! Fluffernut we are date twins! I started watching what I was eating and working out. My weight started fluctuating like crazy so now I am only weighing in once a month. On April 1st I weighed in at 147.4. I would be super duper happy to weigh 120 for my first fitting in August. I have four months to lose roughly 28 pounds, which now that I have written that, it sounds like a lot. But if I lose 8 pounds per month then I can hit my goal! I'm trying to concentrate on inches as well, since I gain muscle very easily. So I want to lose 2-3 inches on my waist, and about 5 inches on my hips.
    As far as a way to check-in, I'm not sure how we can do that. I am part of a facebook group for September brides, maybe we can utilize that or form something similar?
