Getting in Shape

just gotta talk about my workout program!

So back in November i joined a program called Spartan Bootcamp. Its a fitness program that i have come to really love! its only 30-40 minute workouts a day but man is the sweat pouring off of me every time i leave that class. The coolest part is you never get bored. in all the time i have been going.. we have not repeated a single workout. its differnt everyday  so it really shocks your body. i have not lost more than a couple of acual pound but i have lost inches and definately toning up alot! and i have gone from a size 11 to a 9.. my wedding dress was acutally an 8. If i would learn to eat right i could lose the rest of what i want easier.... thats the hardest part for me.. i have a poor diet. My Fi keeps so much junk in the house and my will power sucks when it comes to good food... does anyone else have that problem.. i can work out and work out.. but i dont have that kinda self discapline when it comes to food.

  • Exercise is great and all.. but diet is the largest factor in weight loss and long-term health. 
    It's time to start giving your body crap. It needs the good stuff if you're working it out so well. 

    Are you food loggings? 
    The best way to NOT eat like crap, is to NOT keep crap in the house. I have no discipline either, so H knows to keep all his junk food at work or in his car. It keeps me away from it and has made him cut back as well, just out of pure convenience. 
  • You know what is a really irrational pet peeve of mine?  When people don't understand how sizing works.  Those odd numbers?  Those are Juniors sizes.  The even numbers are women's sizes. 

    And if you got a size 8 wedding dress, you'd be about a street size 4, actually.

  • i have never been a 4 in my life!!! lol i wear a 9 in jeans so i guess thats a junor size?? i guess i always shop in the junior section because i lke the jeans better then lol :) My FI is stubborn.. he is skinny as a rail and eats constant junk.. has a whole cabinent of it.. and i guess i dont eat bad all the time. i usually make pretty healthy meals for the majority of the time. its just the sweets i have a hard time staying away from. i dont drink soda or anything. its just the cookies and ice cream that get me. lol Mostly im pretty happy with myself tho. BEFORE i started this program i lost 40 pounds on my own after having my kids and have just toned up a ton with this program.. still working on the belly tho. Does anyone else here have kids yet.. i have two.. i have had 2 c sections and its so hard to get the stomach toned
