myfitnesspal vs. SparkPeople

Either one better than the other? I'm just curious since I might join one :-)

    I actually use both. I use myfitnesspal to track my food since its app has a barcode scanner. Sparkpeople has a great community and information. Both are free so maybe join both?

    I think it just comes down to personal preference.  I tried both and stuck with SparkPeople because I found it easier to input specific foods.  I suggest just trying them out and going with whatever makes you comfortable.

    Hmm, I never tried spark people.  I love MFP though, it's been a great resource for me.

    I love myfitnesspal, but that's just because I downloaded the app and it's really easy for me to use on the go.

    I joined both but there was too much going on with SparkPeople so I only use myfitnesspal (a lot of girls from this board have all "friended" eachother on it, so we keep eachother motivated!)

    I've been using "Lose It" based on a co-worker's recommendation.  I like it!  I'm not sure how it differs from the others, if at all.

    I love MFP. I tried spark people too but like entro said, too much going on for me. I still get a TON of emails from them and I can't figure out how to make them stop!

    I've used both.  The tracking tool on MFP is superior to the tracking tool on SP (there's more listed on it, things are easier to find, and it's simpler graphically so I have less load problems with it on the computer), but I found the community at SP to be more interactive/supportive.  I actually don't use either anymore because I'm using Weight Watchers, but I'd say it depends on what you're looking for - if you're primarily interested in tracking food/exercise, MFP all the way, but if you're looking for community, I'd have to go with SP.
