Workout Accountability: Wednesday

Hey all!! I've been MIA for a little bit.  I was on vacation for the holidays all last week and things have been busy at work since I got back.  I hope everyone had a nice Christmas and New Years!

I went back to the gym for the first time last night and I am feeling it today!  My legs are sore, so I'll be stretching a lot tonight.  I also plan to run between 3 and 5 miles.  We'll see how my body does.  I was only able to get in 2 runs over my break. 

How did everyone else do?

  • I only planned for 60 minutes of light cardio last night and ended up doing 75 minutes - I'm pretty happy about that.

  • Last night I had plans for a run at the gym but that didn't happen, since I found out my cousin passed away and no one seems to really know what happened.  Safe to say, I already hate 2012.  

    I will be heading to the funeral on Thursday.  I'm going to try and get some sort of a workout in tonight for my sanity, then probably wont do anything until next week once everything is over.  
  • lbarr, I am so, so sorry. It seems like it was a shocking situation, so I hope you and your family can get some answers to get through this difficult time.

    Zumba -- with Wii -- and just got my a$$ kicked for the first time by Jillian Michael's -- I can't even imagine with the 30 day shred must feel like -- looking forward to Jillian not being such a b*tch next time! :)
