Getting in Shape

new to WW

Would love to hear weekly,monthly,yearly progress! This is my first day and I did great! Would love a little boost with some great stories. I have 12weeks hoping to be down 10lbs!

  • You should be able to do it in that time. Just stick to the points value and keep a lot of fruit and veggies on hand for when you want a snack.

  • I love WW!!!  Best thing I ever did was join.  It makes me feel better when I eat on point because the foods are better for you.  I think you should be fine just stick with the points.  I had lost 10lbs in roughly 4 months but I had lots of ups and downs.

  • Thanks ladies! Im very excited and ready! I've gained 30lbs in 4years after having two kids . Argh not good. Ideally in a year I'd like to be down 50lbs. Well see! I like WW because I like routine and having to track. I bought those mini snack bags I keep grapes,carrots in them to take out on trip to park. I'll let you know how my first weigh in goes Monday!
  • I love my weight watchers! I started back in February (using the old system because the new one just doesn't work for me). This week is my 19th week on the program, and I've lost 18 pounds so far. I have roughly 12 weeks until my wedding and would like to lose 10 more pounds, which is very do-able! I'm getting excited because I can finally fit in to my old clothes again.

    My favorite thing about WW is that it isn't a "diet", it's aiding you in a life style change. It teaches portion control and moderation. You can still eat what you love, just eat LESS of it. I think that's why I have been able to stick with it for so long.

  • A tip: measure your fruits and veggies... I forgot to mention that. I had a time period when I wasn't losing and after talking to the meeting leader I found out it was because I was eating too much fruits and veggies. The "zero points" is only up to a certain serving. So basic, yet I still overlooked it.
