Progress update Thursday!

Anyone have any updates?  Big, small, whatever.... share!!!!!

I have lost and inch in my thighs in two weeks!  No big change in the scale, but I swear my butt is perkier!

  • Awesome job guys! I've lost 6 lbs. so far, which has been slow coming off. But since logging everything on TDP, I have been consistently losing. 24 more weeks= 24 more weigh ins.

    I weighed myself yesterday and ive lost 1.4lbs, lost .4% fat, and gained .4% muscle. That is a change from the saturday before last.
  • I am not really good at tracking my progress overall...I started focusing on weight loss seriously in January and I am down almost 2 inches from most of my measurements (waist, stomach, chest, thighs)...except for my hips but I don't know how much I can lose when it come to bone (there is some meat there too though!).  Over all, as my ticker shows, I have lost about 7 pounds BUT I recently had an ugly case of gastro/food poisoning so that might account for a pound or two of the loss!  BUt I am happy with 7 pounds in about 3.5 months. I would like to lose another 7 in the next 3.5 months, and another 7 in the next 3.5...then I will be at my goal and I will have done it fairly slowly!

    I measured myself last night and I lost about 7.5" overall since last Wednesday!  Also down 5lbs for that week and 23.5lbs since I started this weight loss journey in November. 
  • I didn't participate in the last progress update because I didn't have any new information to share. However, I have new pictures!

    I've lost a total of 36.8 lbs since mid-September, and also a TON of inches.
    Bust - 5.5"
    Waist - 5.5"
    Hips - 5.5"
    Arms - 2.75"
    Thighs - 2.5"

    Before: size 22 (August 2009)


    After: size 16 (March 2010)

    I've managed to track consistently for over 4 weeks now! I've lost 3 pounds in that time!

    I'm a super slow loser, but this is massive for me! Only 14 more weeks until my girlfriend's wedding where I hope to be 12 more pounds down. Then, I can go dress shopping!!!

  • Great job everyone.

    I do lots of cardio 4-5 times a week
    I will either do the treadmill or elliptical and I also use a punching bag almost everyday to help with my arms and upper body.

    I also got a bodybugg (the thing they wear on their arms during the biggest loser) to help me track my weight lost everyday all day long.

    I've only lost 5 pounds, but it's better than nothing. I just have to keep working hard.

  • SummerBoston - 7.5" since last Weds. is fantastic! Doesn't seem like you are slowing down at all! I am trying to lose 20 lbs before my wedding in Nov.; that gives me 7 mos, and you already lost more than that in 5 1/2 months. Motivation! Since last Thurs I've lost 4 pounds, but it was mostly water weight/sodium retention. That rate will not last. Last Sat. I bought my dress and they took all my measurements, so I wrote those down and will start doing them on my own every month to compare.

  • Erm, well, it's becoming more and more noticeable that I am losing inches in my boobs. SIGH. I just hope that they will look more substantial again once my waist gets smaller???
  • I realize it's no longer Thursday, but I have to share.  I lost 3 lbs since my weigh-in yesterday!  I have been drinking tons of water b/c TDP said I was consuming a lot of sodium.  Guess I just needed to pee it out!
