I had probably heard it before, but I see some posts and responses regarding how diet is the main part of the weight loss plan, from 70 to 80 percent of the equation, with exercise being the rest. What does this mean to me? Is it more staying within my calories? Should I be focusing more on WHAT those calories are from (such as proteins/veggies/whole grains vs. white potatoes/pastas/junk)?
