1/3 of the Way There!

Woot! I am so happy. This week's weigh in revealed that I am one third of the way to reaching my weight loss goal! Super stoked.

I am now at 189.4, putting me at 20.6 pounds lost!

In August 2011 I weighed in at 210 pounds - that month I drastically changed my eating habits, lost 10 pounds, and then when school started up in September went back to my old ways, and when I got back from Mexico mid January I was back up to 204 pounds.

I started my weight loss journey (but still count August 2011 as my starting weight and date) around January 25 and since then have lost 14.6 pounds. Slow and steady! I got stuck at 194 for about four weeks and broke through that plateau on March 31 and had lost 3.2 pounds that week. I'm hoping now that I'll stay on the 1-2 pounds per week track until my next plateau (which hopefully doesn't come for a long time, lol, because MAN that is frustrating).

I counted calories for a while, but now I'm just focusing on putting good things into my body and exercising often. I have been doing C25K for a while, not focusing on it though so I'm still in week 7 even though I started it about 11 weeks ago. But hey, I can jog for 25 minutes when I used to be only able to jog for a sad sad sad 60 seconds. Now that it's nice out too I'm riding my bike again! Yay for spring! PS- I've definitley been slacking on the daily accountability boards.... oopsies.

Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know how I'm doing and that I am stoked! :)
