OxyELITE Pro.

Does anyone know if this actually works?

Re: OxyELITE Pro.

  • In general I'm leery of any pills.  Also, interestingly enough, products containing DMAA is no longer sold on military bases per order of the defense department.  Apparently there are some pretty "potentially" serious side effects from that.  I think they were supposed to have some sort of ruling out on that by this time.  Funny, you can google search exactly what I just wrote.

Basically, why would you want to take something that could be potentially harmful?  Sure, it might work for a bit but most people who take pills for anything end up reverting back because they aren't learning how to properly eat and exercise... they are just popping a pill.  Also, I'd take working hard at eating right and exercising then potentially suffereing a heart attack from pills any day of the week.

I do workout 4 days a week and I eat a healthish diet. I just cut all junk food out not that there was much in the first place and all caffeine, I waa jist looking for an extra kick, bc the weight is still mot coming off.
  • Do you know how many calories a day you should be eating?  Do you know how many calories you actually are eating?  That could be the underlying reason.  A lot of people on GIS will recommend using myfitnespal.com or sparkpeople.com to track how much you are eating/burning a day.  If you are eating too few calories your body will hold on to what you do eat and the scale won't budge.

Yes i have myfitnesspal app on my phone. It just seems nothing i do gets those pounds off that is why i was contemplating using some kind of pill as a last resort.

MayMil do you know what your body fat % is?

Just curious because I have absolutely hit a plateau and sometimes our bodies find a "happy weight" and it is what it is...

Supplements are never the way to go in my opinion.. If you've hit a wall it's time to change up your routine, change up your foods, mess with the adjustment of your caloric intake (if you're not getting ENOUGH, it's as bad as getting too much. Your bod will store everything it can as fat).
There must be something that you haven't done that is holding you back..
