    A lot more ab stuff comes in during Stages 2 and 3.  Planks are effing killer.

    The later stages are only 8 workouts, so they go by sooooo much faster.  I'll be doing my third Stage 3 workout today.

    If you really want to get the cardio in there, give the section after the workouts another read.  Just make sure that you give your body enough rest.  Maybe switch to lifting 2 days a week, with 2 or 3 days of cardio in between.

    Or just do Stage 1 as is, and see how you feel in the later stages when HIIT is built in.
