I think I have hit a plateau as well. I don't drink soda, I only have a drink once amonth if that.  I thought giving up the alcohol would help, but it didn't seem to at all. I used to drink at least 15-20 drinks a week, mostly on the weekends and I gave that up in February and I lost maybe 5lbs since then. I also eat really well and have been exercising and nothing seems to help with losing weight. I have about 9 months till my wedding and I would love to lose about 10-15 more lbs if I can. But it's very hard when you I haven't really lost anything in the last 6 months and I have tried really hard.

SO true.  I drink zero soda and zero alcohol.  Literally.  Have some alcohol at the rare wedding.  ( I go to weddings on average once a year)

Anyway since you already cut back on the high calorie beverages, take a look at your food.  Eat only the leanest cuts of meat and fish.  No pork, roast beef, no sausage... just lean chicken boneless skinless, fish, turkey, try ground turkey burgers instead of beef.

No sauces, marinades, condiments except natural or low fat ones like lime juice marinade home made or orange juice marinade.. or light olive oil when cooking.. no butter..

No processed foods, no sugar no white flour,

You have to be serious when it comes to losing weight.

By doing all that, it seems I maintain my weight.  I cheat on the weekends like french toast, bagels, pizza... it seems I have almost no control of what I eat because we spend the weekend at DH's family beach house so his parents are mostly in control of what we eat..

The pizza in OC is good though.  It's not overly cheesy and bready.

I do not eat any fried foods or anything like that down there...

ANYWAY------- it all comes down to your diet but also your exercise.

You need to work out consistently.  I haven't seen results because I am not consistent.  I eat bagels and pizza on the weekends but sometimes I get lazy and on Monday don't get back into my exercise routine.  That is the key.  If I was consistent instead of a light workout once or twice a week, I should do heavier workouts or just work out 5 days  week.

It's hard to maintain an exercise schedule. but as long as my diet is on track, then it's just about maintaining my weight.  If I were to be consistent with both, I would see results.

Gotta work out more.. videos.. etc
