Good morning everyone! I hope you all had a great long weekend.
I spent most of that time working on the garage (but of course, what else would I be doing? lol). Ripped off yet another nail, this time below the quick, and it's still tender. Framed and stained some lattice for the bottom of the patio and attached it in such as way so we could still remove it to access storage area below ... and spent a couple of hours yesterday shoveling fill in front of the garage to even up the ground.
But I did manage to do my cardio this morning. I hauled my sorry self up and did 30 minutes on the elliptical, but I'm not feeling any more alert than I would if I hadn't. I'm missing the energy high I was expecting, and I don't know if it's just job dread or my body not willing to accept the new routine. Either way, I will keep trying and hope that it gets better.
And need to work on my diet in a major way. The cupboards are pretty skimpy and I've been making bad choices. Need to get to the store and stock up on everything!
