"Hot" yoga

I just got back from my first class! It is hot!!!!!!!!! I can't believe how much you sweat, but you end up feeling great. Just thought I would share.

  • Oh yeah, it's wicked hot.  I tried it once a while ago, and it just wasn't for me.  One of my friends, though, goes 2-3 times a week and absolutely loves it.  Just make sure you hydrate well!

  • everytime i go i feel sick afterwards, I just want to pass out. but it worked sooo fast
  • I have a love/hate relationship with hot yoga.  I love how accomplished I feel afterwards, but sometimes, I just really hate how hot it is.  Especially in the summer.  But I love being able to stretch and get into moves deeper because of how warm and loose my muscles are!  I find the key is to drink a TON of water the day before and the day of - otherwise, it's just miserable.  And like anything else, it's not for everyone, so don't force yourself if you don't like it!
