Recommend your workout program

Anyone using any workout programs? Like the infomercial ones? Or have heard from family or friends that one works well?  Please don't bother telling me about your own self-disciplined plan, I am not that motivated, I need a disc I can pop into the dvd player haha! TIA

    I've been using 30 Day Shred, and switching it up with a couple other Jillian Michaels videos. I have two hours of commuting on top of working full time, and I was never making it to the gym. These videos are something I can do every day. They're very reasonable from amazon, and you can get little hand weights there too. Whatever you pick, make sure you also include diet, rest, and all the other lifestyle choices that go into making yourself healthy. You could also consider joining the daily workout accountability thread. Good luck!
  • agree with PP - I love the Jillian Michael's videos - they're short (30min) but really effective (I've lost quite a few pounds and inches just in two months 4x a week).

  • I love Jillian Michaels 6 week abs DVD- I'm always sore after! I'm taking that DVD as well as her 30DS with me while I'm traveling for a few months to keep my workouts going. Good luck finding your fav DVD!

    I would recommend checking out toneitup.com. They are coming out with DVDs in April, but in the meantime have TONS of workout videos on the website along with recipes. They come out with a calendar for each month with challenges and motivation. If you join the community, it really helps to hold you accountable and you constantly have other women cheering you on. I honestly have always hated working out until I found these two awesome trainers who created the website!

  • I love Brazil Butt Lift!  I've been raving about it to everyone I know for weeks now, and this morning a friend asked me if I was still doing it bc my rear really is lifting.

  • I don't use a book but I use the New Rules of Weightlifting for Women book and it's amazing.  Has daily workouts for you to do, and they only last like 35-45 minutes!  I've never been able to stick with DVDs for more than a few days but I've been doing this 3xweek since December and I still love it and look forward to working out!

  • P90x.Its Amazing.   I have 4 kids, and after my last baby I kind of did my own thing.  A girl I know had a baby a few weeks after me, and I saw her when our babies were 3 months old- she looked amazing.   THAT convinced me.   I am so glad I did it.  Im on my second round of it and STILL loving it.  I plan on doing this until the wedding and beyond!

  • P90x is worth the money especially if you're going to be committed! You get many DVD s for the price.they will defiantly push you to your limit and get you in great shape!
  • I've been doing the Tracy Anderson Metamorphosis program and I am actually on to the Continuity program.  It has completely transformed my body and I am 10 pounds lighter adn more sculpted because of it! It isn't an easy workout, it's challenging, but worth it! 
    I've done a lot of workouts and programs--P90X is great, Hip Hop Abs with Shaun T. is fun, I have the Brazil Butt Lift series (which completey transformed my booty!) and I also have the Kim Kardashian Fit in Your Jeans by Friday series.
    I am a huge sucker for infomercial products! I also own a Gazelle (you know the guy with the long blond hair?) I get on that everyday and burn calories while I watch my favorite shows!!
  • Any BeachBody program is awesome.  I've done Insanity and ChaLean Extreme and I'm currently on my second pass of Insanity.  I don't know what your body type is, but I'm 5'7" 140Lbs & I don't drop a ton of pounds on the programs.  However you lose inches like crazy and tighten up everywhere.  Some of my male co-workers bought Insanity after I used it bc they wanted muscles too, haha.  Good luck with whatever you get into!!!
  • I have been struggling with my weight for awhile, fluctuating between 175 and 155...In January I started with ACE as a skeptic. I am sure, like me, you all have tried everything. Between Walmart and Walgreens I sure have! 
    Well, I am happy to say that yesterday I officially reached my goal size of size 4!!!!!!
