Getting in Shape

Buddy??

So I'm new at posting things on here and reading them... bear with me.

I'm already kind of in shape, but I hate the idea of working out on purpose.  By that I mean, I hate the gym and I won't purposely do any sort of work out.  I stay in shape by doing actual activities that trick my mind into thinking I'm not working out.  Make sense?  For instance, I could be out running around the neighborhood with my fiance, but instead I'm enjoying a large glass of wine/1,500 calories because I plan on cleaning the house in heels tonight and I totally count that as a legit work out- bonus calories burned if I turn up the music and sing along.

I don't really need to work out to lose weight or anything, but I want to do it to feel good about myself. Anybody want to be my partner to keep each other in check?  Like maybe plan an attack for the week with WOD's and meal plans and then check in to see how good we did at following through with it?

Or even if somebody wants to buddy up just to remind one another it's ok that we opted for the venti Starbucks frapp instead of going to a spinning class because who needs a perfect body when you already have the perfect man?

Any takers?

    Beckpaz I"m in!
I've lost 30 lbs so far...but would like to loose 30 more!
For me it was all about controlling my portions, I would always put too big of a scoop on my plate if you know what I mean.  I now put my meals on a small desert plate and make it look about the amount of food in a lean cuisine or smartones type portion.
I'm with you on tricking myself into exercize, I hate the gym. Classes seem to work better for me because they tell you what to do for an hour.   Ive found that for me the Best Calorie Burn:  Hot Yoga!  I saw myself slim down in the first week, I try to go to classes as much as possible, depending on your current weight you lose between 500-1000 calories in one hour!!!  This week though I've had a very long week at work and have not gone to class all week!
But I do need to feel good about myself too... I am opting out of bridesmaids, one because I wanted a small wedding party but also because all of the women who I would have are skinny rails, I mean real real skinny, I really don't want to look like an orca next to them on my wedding day!
I will try to remember to check back to this feed daily.
