Diet Help!!!

Hi Everyone-
I am looking for  a healthy diet to help speed up weight loss for my Nov 2012 wedding. I have sarted working out cardio and weights which I know will help, but want to eat right. I wa on the Atkins in August and lost 18 lbs but gained it back during the holiday and when I went on vacations. Any ideas for healthy dieting that burns pounds quickly?

  • I have lost 5 lbs in 2 days on herbalife its so far doing the job. But I only have 3months so I am dedicated to stay on game for the next 100 days.

  • I just started counting calories on myfitnesspal.com and it is helping A LOT!  I thought I was eating a mostly healthy diet, but turns out I was eating way too many calories to actually lose weight. 

    I've also had good luck with Weight Watchers

  • Things like Herbalife that require you buy products are a waste of money.  Track your calories, eat lots of fruits, veggies, lean protein, and whole grains, make sure you're getting healthy fats, cut down on refined sugars and processed junk.


    1-2 lbs a week is healthy sustainable weight loss, unless you're very significantly overweight (we're talking morbidly obese), in which case it's safe to lose up to 1-2% of your bodyweight a week.

  • Thanks for the info, I have been doing a lot of looking online, think I am going to stick to the calorie counting and eating good carbs (eruits & grains), lots of veggies, and lean meat, chicken and fish, I am hoping it works ! Fingers crossed!
  • I started counting calories and exercising the day after christmas and I have lost 10 lbs so far! I feel great too. I use my fitness pal! kmd1689
