  • I hope to get lucky at my WI tonight - bad weekend, okay week. Oh well. Like Scarlett says, "Tomorrow is another day." :-)

    Thanks everyone for the condolences yesterday. I appreciate it. My DH got a small odd job watering someone's lawn for the week & I'm going to hire myself out as a maid for my mother. I know it will work out. It's just tough right now.

  • Morning! 
    Favorite-If your DH is ready and willing to do odd jobs, try posting on craigslist.  That's how I found a guy to plant bushes that I wasn't strong enough to do when I was single and didn't have DH to do the heavy lifting.  Now my whole family uses him for odd jobs and I think he's made a good amount of money of us :)

     This weekend is going to be BAD food wise.  We're going to the western MI coast and staying in hotels all weekend and eating out every meal.  I made homemade snack mixes last night for us to bring-but I have to limit my portion sizes.  And not drink too much at the winery tours.

    B: snack mix (3)
    L: salad with goat cheese (2) lf dressing (1) and lots of veggies and spaghetti squash with 1/2 T butter (1.5)
    S: activia yogurt (2) and popcorn (1.5)
    D: blackened shrimp (2) crabcake (2) and wine (4)
