Day 4 of 17 day diet

So-- I started the 17 day diet.. and contrary to it's name.. it doesn't really just last 17 days..It's in 3-17 day cycles and a final 4th cycle that helps maintain a healthy well rounded lifestyle. So far I'm in the accelerate portion and it's been a little hard due to lack of time. You can have turkey, chicken and fish, not much else in terms of proteins, tons of veggies, some low sugar fruit, and probiotics (yogurt). I've had to attend events for my 2 jobs and its been really hard to stick to, plus I haven't had time to cook. But today I am making bunless turkey burgers.

I'm soooo excited for them. Never thought I would see the day. I've lost the 2lbs I gained back on Thanksgiving (probably just bloating, but I'll take anything), and another 2lbs once I started the diet.  The Turkey burger patties (currently marinating) has mushrooms, peppers, and onions mixed in with the meat, salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder, as well a little worcestershire sauce to give it a kick!

I'm excited. The first phase last 17 days. so I have about 13 more to go, but it gets easier as I go on. I didn't realize how many simple carbs I was eating, and that although they are tastey they weren't really helping  me.

okay.. just wanted to share. :)
