Question about Measurements

I am curious about how everyone takes their measurements. I feel like every week I am measuring in a different spot for each body part, so I am not really trusting the numbers I am getting. I have noticed that if I am even a half an inch higher or lower when I measure my waist, the number is completely different from the previous week.

How do I keep consistant with where I am taking my measurements?

To keep things consistent, measure on the same day each month. For example measure on the first of each month. Second, measure at the same time, preferably in the morning. Third, measure while you suck it in. I could never remember if I had measured at my "normal" level so I just went with when I was holding it in. If you are measuring on a weekly basis you will see a lot of fluctuations. Maybe move to measuring once a month?
