  • What was your biggest motivation last week? Realization that 2012 = wedding year!
    If you did any workouts, what did you do? FI and I started the 100 Pushup challenge, so did that twice so far. Other than that, just been dedicated to taking the stairs at work and to our apartment.
    What was your favorite healthy meal of the week?  Spicy asian noodle stir fry
    Any motivational tips? quotes, pics, sayings, etc. you would like to share? Right now, I just look at the wedding ticker for motivation
    What is your goal for next week? Successfully complete week 2 of the pushups

  • Um yeah I gained 3 lbs since I weighed myself 2 weeks ago but I have not been watching and did not work out last week so I am curious to see how I do next week after I start up my kickboxing tomorrow.

    What was your biggest motivation last week? - Getting back on track... and my BM sent us the her BM dress info for her wedding and I realized that I'm the fattest BM in her party :(
    If you did any workouts, what did you do? - Worked out every day except Saturday... started easing myself into running. 
    What was your favorite healthy meal of the week? - Made a really simple minestrone last week.

    What is your goal for next week? - No eating after 9PM

  • What was your biggest motivation last week? Feeling 100% better after being really sick!

    If you did any workouts, what did you do? I've only ran every other day since the weather has been ununsually beautiful! Usually at this time of the year it's -500 outside and it's been 30s-40s!!

    What was your favorite healthy meal of the week? FI and I are obsessed with this yummy "mexican" food: black beans mixed with onions & tomatoes, topped with feta cheese & avocado on a tostada with a thin layer of sour cream. This is healthy, right?????!!!!

    Any motivational tips? quotes, pics, sayings, etc. you would like to share? This is all I think about- "Focus on the result!"

    What is your goal for next week? Keep up with the exercising- try to push myself harder

    What was your biggest motivation last week? I bought a scale and weighed more than I thought I did. :-/  But...since I boguht the scale I've been counting calories and lost about 4 lbs in the first week of that.
    If you did any workouts, what did you do? I hurt my neck running (think I landed weird on my foot, and well, you know it went up to my neck and made it hurt for 6 days), so I didn't do too much.  I did a C25K workout, but then had to put that on hold for the neck.  I went hiking Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Worked out this morning before work, just some elliptical and free weights.
    What was your favorite healthy meal of the week? Kung Pao chicken with brown rice...FI makes fun of me because I put in more veggies than chicken. 
    Any motivational tips? quotes, pics, sayings, etc. you would like to share? Can't get skinny by eating like a fat kid. 
    What is your goal for next week? I love that k888 put up a weekly goal for us to set on the thintopia challenge. My goal for this week is to cut carb (crackers and pita chips) snacking.  Only eating fruits, veggies and nuts for snacks.

  • today is my birthday!!!! so i am not being accountable for today :)

    i will share a small tip i have been doing lately. our elevator in the office is SUPER SLOW - when i am riding on it by myself, i do a very deep chair pose (yoga terminology for a deep, deep squat with your weight balanced more on your heels than towards the front of your feet) to work the butt and the quads. i swear, even doing this 4 times a day for about a minute is making a difference!!

    i am planning to eat pasta and tiramisu tonight but will get back to slimming tomorrow :-D

    Ally I needed to fold tons of laundry and exercise before leaving the house so I decided to combine! I usually fold while sitting but I decided to stand and while I folded an article of clothing I would do a squat until it was done. I simply continued doing squats for each article of clothing. I switched it up a few times by running in place, jumping in place.. things like that while still folding. Pretty easy I might say.. and a time saver! :)
  • So - is anyone else motivated by seeing the super-fit lookin models on the cover of like "Health" or "Shape" magazine? That kicks my butt into gear.

    I've been gyming it up consistently for the past few weeks - but I'm still gaining weight..so next up - change our diet.

    Starting Sunday, FI and I are eating healthier. I bought an American Heart Association cookbook. Low fat, low calorie, and low sodium meals without wicked expensive ingredients. Sweeeet. :o)

    What was your biggest motivation last week?  The two gains from the last two weeks and it being a new year
    If you did any workouts, what did you do?  I made it to the gym twice and I have been doing some more walking around its been unusually warm this winter
