Good news for almond lovers in
this article!!
I have to say, this corroborates my own experience. Even though nuts are dense, supposedly high-calorie foods, I've found that plain, unsalted almonds are an AWESOME snack food -- they are extremely filling but hard to overindulge on (the plain ones at least -- when you start adding tasty salty coatings it's a different story). They're delicious when you're hungry but not very appealing when you're not
