Getting in Shape

Starting again, but holding strong

Hello All,
So I posted on here when I started months ago. I did really well at first, but got off tract these past few weeks. But I've started again, and am getting in at least a half hour of activity every day. Im also experimenting with group classes at the gym. I am half way there, and I am refocusing to change my life style, to be healthier too, not just to lose the inches.

Righ now my focus is: Staying Motivated - Any suggestions or advice? Laughing

FYI - I do belong to WW online, and a gym.

  • Good for you, you can do it! Believe me, if I did it, you can. Think you the healty benifits to come from the weight loss as your motivation.
  • YOU CAN DO IT! I conduct staff development trainings for teachers and I always tell them, if you are trying to change (or start) a new behavior there is a cycle of change that occurs. During that cycle it is totally natural and almost expected that you will dip and revert back to old behaviors. The brain is habitual...keep at it. Once it becomes a habit it will be hard for you NOT to stick with your plan.

    I keep myself motivated by only weighing myself every other week, putting really good songs on my iPod, and looking at old pictures of myself when I was smaller =)
