working out....

My FI and I have a mini gym in our garage and in a spare bedroom, he works out 5-6 days a week, and I want to get back into working out as well, its not like im overweight or anything (im 5'11 and weigh 140) I just want to tone up and stay that way, but I do not have any motivation or any energy.....blah

Re: working out....

  • Dot it, girl! You are already at a perfect weight for your height so toning up should be easy. Start lifting weights 2-3 days a week. I'm sure you will see a difference in no time!

  • I definitely know the feeling. I'm constantly tired and have low energy due to a few health things so working out is the last thing on my mind most of the time. The best advice I have is to put on some good music and get out there! Put it on your schedule for the day so there's no excuse. Hmm I should take my own advice...

  • You'll get more energy by getting active again! It seems silly but it's so true. I gain energy from my workouts and like AM said, you're in a good position to tone :)
    DO IT!!

  • I know you already have all the equipment at home but I just can't seem to motivate myself sometimes.  Can you try a class at the gym like Bodypump?  it is my favorite class!  It uses light weights with lots of reps.  I saw a difference in my body within a month.
