Getting in Shape

Workout Accountability: FRIDAY

It is Friday. Yes it is.

I lifted (lower body) last night and did the elliptical and ab exercises.  Tonight I'm taking off because my race is tomorrow! Yikes! I'm a little nervous.  I've run so many 5Ks as workouts (and longer mileage) but this will be my first official race.  I know I'll complete it (hopefully not in last!) but I guess I'm a little nervous about all the people around me, passing me, etc.  At least the route is completely flat- I couldn't have picked an easier first time race.

  • For the second time ever I had to find food to finish off my calorie intake! I got home from work and FH was feeling icky and crabby. So I had cereal for dinner and had carrots and hummus to finish things off. I did my JM before work and when I got home I rewarded myself with ordering two new dresses and two new high heels! I ordered the dresses a size smaller than what I tried on in the store, so I'm hoping they're a little tight so I can have some motivation to wear one to RD. Everyone is doing so well! Fluffernut sorry about the kitty. I would cry for so long if I did that.
