Getting in Shape

Yay weight loss!

So, today marks the start of my ninth week of doing weight watchers. I started doing the old version after doing the new version last summer and not losing any weight. Since starting, I've lost 12 pounds! Just needed to brag a little bit Smile

Re: Yay weight loss!

  • I'm from the Eastern part of the state :) I'm getting married October 6th of this year. My fiancée and I have been together for 4 years as of July 6th. I'm a RN on a Labor and Delivery unit and I absolutely love my job. That's basically me in a nutshell!

  • That's awesome!

I just joined WW this week.  What is the difference between the old plan and the new one??  I'm not sure how I feel about most fruits and veggies having zero points.  Is this the difference you are referring to?
  • The old system takes calories into account where as the new program doesn't. I also didn't like the fact that fruits and veggies are zero points on the new system. I lost and gained the same five pounds for about nine weeks last summer. I used the old system  about two years ago and lost around 11 pounds. I figured why not try it again...and it's working wonders!

Are you following it because you have the materials from a few years ago or do they still offer the old system?
