We've started receiving gifts - mostly because my shower was last weekend - and finding space to put them away is a challenge! I know... it's not a bad problem to have

...and our dog is so afraid of the stack of boxes, she won't walk by them without being bribed by treats!

My 2 bridal showers this past weekend went GREAT! I had a blast! A lot more people than expected showed up, we were afraid we weren't going to have enough food and there weren't enough chairs for everyone! The FSIL's had some fun games planned. Although, they were more funny for everyone else in the room

A good friend of mine who is an aspiring photographer came to the shower, and took over 200 pictures and they're great! I'm so glad I have those as memories!

We are leaving tomorrow to go to Austin to hang out with friends, and float the river. I'm stoked. It'll be the last fun weekend getaway before the wedding.

Oh, and I get married 3 weeks from Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought over $300 worth of crystal we had chosen for our registry for $52 yesterday.  I wasn't going to buy it since it will rarely be used, but for that price I could not pass it up!!   Yay for clearance + completion discounts!

I'm taking boudouir pictures today!!!  I'm leaving work at lunch to go get my hair and makeup done, and then my session is this afternoon, and I'm SO excited.  I'm very nervous that for some reason FI will find out before I give him the album.

They're giving you a key to the school?!?!?!?!  I've been at the HS for 12 years and I only have one to my room and our dept. lounge.

We had our planning meeting with all our vendors at The Filter Building last night to work out the layout and most of the details.  Holy Crap this is getting sooo real.  It was awesome to get everyone on the same page, but now I'm panicing with what I have left to do.   yeeeeeeeee.

We did a second E-pics shoot on Saturday at the Gaylord and I am in LOVE with the pictures!  I was nervous after the first one (I posted about it here) and am so glad we decided to do a second one.  YAY!

We accepted the sellers counter offer so we get to move on to the next step!  I'm so glad the back and forth is over.

I slept pretty decent for the first time in awhile last night.

We had our couple's shower last week and it was a blast, my sister hired a DJ and we danced the night away until 2AM... a bit of a preview of the wedding, which is almost 3 weeks away, yay!

I asked my best friend to be my MOH last night! She's so excited to be the "best MOH ever". She's already sending links, telling me about upcoming bridal shows, and we scheduled a lunch @ Barnes and Noble next week to pick up some etiquette books and a binder that she said I really need. And she's already asking to throw an engagement party! I didn't think we would get to have one!
I feel so relieved that she's excited! I really think she will be the best MOH ever!

That was a lot of exclamation marks. Sorry.

i'm throwing my FI (who is 4 years younger than me) a nice 30th b-day party tomorrow and i'm very excited and i think he is as well. i'm a little nervous over all the little details and want everything to be perfect!!!

besides that, 2 months until the wedding! yeah!

oh, i got my first spray tan the other day and it looks awesome!!! much better than the mist tanning (which wasn't so bad though).

We're meeting with a potential officiant on Saturday and booked our e-pics with Colton @ SixFourteen. I saw KellyLovesJames' preview on his site and they are awesome! Also can't wait to see how yours turned out Joanne!

It's been about a year since I took up running and I can honestly say that I actually enjoy it now.  (And I've lost about 15 pounds.)  With the exception of a week I took off because of a stomach virus and a day for a blood donation, I've stuck to my latest running and workout plan that I started at the end of June.  Here's hoping I'll be ready for some runs/races this fall!

All of my bridesmaids have ordered their dresses! Also, the printed parts of my invitations came in this week, and I think they're going to look really great! Now I get to assemble them. And part of my centerpieces will be delivered today so I can start working on those!
