Planned eating and exercise

I dont know who all will want to participate but I thought I would start this and see. I know for some reason when I tell others (even on the internet) and write down what I plan to eat for the day it helps me stick to it. Plus we can all get ideas from each other.

Breakfast: 2 energy balls pre workout and carrot, spinach, clementine juice after
Snack: Fage 2% greek yogurt w/ blueberries
Lunch: Left over mushroom stroganoff with whole wheat noodles
Snack: Almonds (If I am hungry)
Dinner: Salad bar from Whole foods
Exercise: Walked around track for 45 min because gym door was locked :(

I am about to head out for 24 Lift!
Breakfast will most likely be Slimfast and fruit.
Lunch is going to be Cosmic Cafe -- and I can't wait. AND, I will walk there!
Dinner from Whole Foods sounds like a great idea.

    What are energy balls?

I had breakfast from Chick Fil A because I was running behind. But I did get the bagel though.
Snack: two mini Slim Jims (half the recommended serving)
Lunch: chicken soup, ten crackers, grapes and apples
Snack: Chewy fiber bar (I have a couple here in my room)
Dinner: I'm not sure yet because we're trying to go see "West SIde Story" here at school but it may be from McAlister's. If that's where we go, I'll be getting a turkey sandwich on wheat with a side salad instead of chips.
Exercise: I may just walk around the high school for thirty minutes, especially if we go to the show tonight. I won't want to be sitting that long.

I am doing my shoulders and triceps video from P90X along with the ab video. I had cinnamon cheerios with 2% milk for breakfast (the cheerios had 20% of my daily fiber yay!). I am not sure about lunch, but I am making a turkey and bean soup for dinner.

It is a recipe I adapted from www.ohsheglows.com

The recipe is 1/4 C Almond butter, a few sprinkles of cinnamon, 3 T brown rice syrup and 1 C Kamut puffs (or you can use rice puffs I use Kamut because they have more fiber and protein). Warm up all ingredients except cereal puffs in microwave for 30 seconds then add in puffs and stir until puffs are coated. Form balls a little larger than golf balls and refridgerate. They are about 100 cal each and I just grab out of the fridge in the morning.

I will abstain today because I cheated for breakfast, and I don't want to make anyone hungry. I am drinking an Ensure for lunch though... so that should even things out.

However, it was a reward to myself for eating great all week. I am now only 3 pounds away from my ski trip goal weight and I still have a few weeks.

    Great Job Ladies!

Rachel, I love ohsheglows and peasandthankyou they both rock.

I just found some chia seeds in my desk drawer to put in my yogurt and was so excited I squealed a little, I thought I was completely out but I had stashed some in a drawer. Yay!

    Bobbieleigh,
I so could have seen that yesterday if I had read the post. However, I didn't go back to it until this morning.

Lunch for me was a Lean Cuisine pizza and a Coke zero since my friend called in sick.

I went to 24 Lift this morning AND walked at lunch. But I have an iffy weekend ahead since it's Mel's birthday--I will miss the gym tomorrow, will have birthday cake and Sunday is Cheesecake Factory. Oy vey.

I know how you feel stephie, tomorrow morning we're going to do kenpo, but the rest of the day is freebirds and chuck-e-cheese. Then sunday, we'll be in grapevine...ALL day, i believe pizza is on the menu...and then mexican.

    Oh geeze.
