Losing Weight

Problem!! I have been trying forever to lose weight for the wedding but now it is down to 6 weeks away and I am still not where I want to be. It seems with all the stress, work, planning I haven't had time to work out like I had planned. Does anyone have a good workout plan that is not too time consuming yet fun, so I don't get bored ( I tend to do that).

  • Running burns the most calories in a short time I think and can be done anywhere.  Or there are workout DVDs called Slim in 6- literally a 6 week workout.  Think its like an hour a day tops or something like that.  Hope this helps!  And congratulations!

  • Insanity. If you want results QUICK, it's the way to go. Also, drink copious amounts of water.
  • Keep a closer eye on what you eat.  First thing to cut is foods high in added sugar (note that this is NOT the same as cutting all carbs - keep filling up on whole grains w/ no sugar added, fruits and veggies - they will keep you full and provide energy).  But man, I should take my own advice ;)  Believe me, I know just how hard it is!
  • At 6 weeks you should probably not be trying to lose much more weight.  Do you not have a dress in the process of being fitted?  If you lose enough weight to be noticeable, your dress will not fit right.
