Les Mills Pump

Anyone try the Les Mills Pump at home program? I used to take the classes at the gym, and I loved them, but I moved and there aren't any gyms around that offer them. I need to add strength to my workouts, so I'm looking into their home system.

Thanks!

Re: Les Mills Pump

  • No, but I am a Les Mills addict! I do about 12-15 classes a week, but we move in December and I haven't found a gym where we're moving that has any Les Mills programs. :(
If you end up getting it, will you review it for us on here? It would be greatly appreciated :)
  • I ended up ordering it. I will let you know how it goes!

  • I go to  Les Mills gym, here in Canada they are all called "Goodlife"....not sure if that name carries over in the US as well.

I have done the pump class a few times and really liked it! I also do the body combat class which is SUPER hard (for me at least) but man, does my fat feel like it is being ripped off of me after that!

I do a bunch of les mills classes  at the gym and love them all, zumba, RPM Spin, combat, pump
the only one I didn't like was step because I am far to uncoordinated for it and felt like I was going to trip over my own feet.

  • Souptin, she's asking specifically about the Les Mills at-home work outs, not the gym classes

OP looking forward to your review! :)

  • I have the at home program. I have had it for several months.  I did it pretty strictly 3 days a week and then ran the other 3 days for about 3 months or so.
I actually didn't lose much weight, but I was getting really strong and very toned.  I'm sure I lost quite a good amount of body fat with it. Built some nice muscle- not bulky at all.

I had to quit for about 6 weeks as I had a skin cancer scare and had to have some skin surgery that really limited my workouts.

I have been back at it for the last 2 weeks.  I didn't lose all the strength gains I made, which is great, but I'm not quite back to where I was before the surgery.  I'm thinking another 2 weeks and I'll be there.

    I love the workouts.
