Manual Treadmill

Has any one had experience with manual treadmills? I want a treadmill but the cheapest I can find it manual ones. I'm not too sure if  I will get the same level of work out as a automatic? Any tips or opinions?

    Thanks Anna. I haven't looked on craigslsit yet, thanks for the idea! I was afriad it wouldn't feel natural and I'm so glad you let me know. Hopefully I will find something good soon.
