  • I heard sit ups aren't good for your back and neck.  It's been hurting my lower back.  I put a towel underneath for more support, but still hurts. Any ideas?

    I posted this in the other one, but I wanted to ask here too =)
  • They're not good if you don't do them properly -- make sure that you're not pulling your head forward as you do the sit up -- I always recommend looking at a place on the ceiling so it keeps you looking up -- to prevent you from curling forward.  You'll have to explain how it's hurting your lower back -- is it like a strain on your muscles or more like a sore spot from where you're back is hitting the floor?

  • Got my FI on board with it too-we're doing it along with the 100 push-up iphone app. Days 1 and 2 down, will have to find time for day 3 between 2 jobs today and a lunch between bride and groom grandmothers!
